Has anybody looked into that 'Don't trust the DDD' stuff yet? If so, I'd love to know! Going onto the website it's literally all in code and I'm not the brightest when it comes to cracking codes - but if anybody knows how/what it says please let me know! :)

i dunno if this is planned or if this is still being updated but after playing this for a while i think itd be cool if you had more options to talk to the residents and their files could say whether or not they have things like speech impediments or subtleties that you could catch them on
Every time I've played today the phone stopped working like halfway through. It wouldn't let me call the ddd. Some advising would be helpful. Im on a Mac and this started after downloading the new update.
Hey! So, if you’re on a MacBook, you can just shut the screen and reopen it and it’ll work again! I’m not sure on iMac, but I assume if you just press the sleep button and wake it back up, it should do the same thing!

I couldn´t help but notice that the word ¨Cheek¨ is mispelled as ¨Cheeck¨ in the game. Don´t know if it´s intentional or just a typo? But overall great game.
Is there a reason the game crashes so much? I've tried playing it 4 different times and it's crashed 3 times on the menu alone and once as soon as I start a game. It's barely playable for some reason.
what do you mean wrong eyes and nose? the game was bugged and yes I did the double check but the eyes and the nose still look the same, yet somehow I lose, plz fix this game
On Orcus' eyes, the pupils are rotated, having two lines at the top and one at the bottom instead of vise versa, making it look like a regular triangle instead of an inverted triangle. And I think Yog's nose is only slightly wider at the nostrils, compared to his folder version.
updated the game, experiencing alot of issues in nightmare mode. Sprites will overlap. Once i call the DDD the dopple will still be there with the DDD employee standing ontop of them, the new monster will then walk in and stand ontop of both. when trying to interact with the character it will choose the DDD employee and ignore the others.
please add this to steam ;-;, i dont have a paypal acc so i cant actually buy the game, ive been addicted to this game for a few days now and im devastated i cant play the new update.
The concerns about Shub's surname are fully valid, because HP Lovecraft was a virulent racist when he wrote most of his books, and so much of his horror was built on that racism and classicism. However, I'm only annoyed at people dismissing the concerns with the excuse of "It's the actual name!" because that is irrelevant to the point.
Anyway, the Three Times doppel(?) continues to confuse me on what to do. Got it on my first run and I got no clue what to do except call DDD, and it keeps coming back even after I called them three times in a row
Edit: Nvm, I figured out Three Times, just had to let em in.
Just wanna say, since I did comment on the name previously, I do think the concern about the name is valid, but I don't really expect them to change it solely because of the fact that it's a reference, and they seem to make a point about including references to a lot of other stuff. My assumption is that it's meant to also be a cheeky reference to south park because most people that I know would recognize it from there and not necessarily from the actual Lovecraft books. While it'd be nice if they changed it to something else, I really wouldn't expect them to change it just because it would mean losing out on a multilayered reference.
no clue if the devs read these, but you might wanna change Shub's last name in nightmare mode. When read aloud, it sounds exactly like a pretty serious racial slur lmao
Shub is actually a legit lovecraftian creature in "The Last Test", she is often associated with the phrase "The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young", and yes that is how her name is actually spelt. Her name is also the reason that South Park made a joke about her being worshiped by cops in their video game. While I get the thing with pronouncing her name, I don't expect that they would change it, just because it's the legit name of the creature and one of the main elements of nightmare mode seems to be themed after classic horror stuff.
If your pc gives you a warning and the only option you have is "don't run", press "more info" so it can give you access to "run anyway" and to be able to play the game.
If you already have the game, make an account in itch.io then verify your email so you can access your library. you probably bought the game without an account but as long as you use the same pc in which you have the game in, your itch account will notice it and you will be able to download the latest updates.
You could try uninstalling the game first if you haven't already, but I have a suspicion that everybody who can't get the update even when reinstalling are all on mac. Then that's just a problem the developer has to fix.
That seems to be one of the only logical answers at this point.
If you haven't tried already, you could refer back to your email for the email you get for purchasing the game and continue from the download page provided there, or download the itch app and download from there, although I have a feeling you've already tried all of that. I'm sure the developer will fix the problem soon.
Edit: Im glad it worked for you, Scratch the mac problem, I hope everybody else has the problem resolved.
Had a glitch with Mclooy Rudboys. He said he had an emergency at work, but he's supposed to be retired, and his entry request said he was shopping anyway. Not to mention he wasn't on the list either. So I killed him, but he was not a doppleganger. This has to be some sort of glitch, right?

The ID is expiry date, not birthdate. Hope that clears up some confusion.

The dev confirmed that they haven´t made an android version yet. You probably should not download it.

Phone stops working after a few mins of play :
The game is not made for phones so it´s understandable that it can´t handle running this.. Download it onto a pc or laptop instead if you have one.
I meant the phone in the game for some reason won't dial after a few mins of playing. I'm on Mac . Anyone else having this problem? Any advice?

You only need to redownload the game, as long as you know how to do that the update should be there.
