The clown card game at the end is cool but I wish there was an option to decline. I hate the fact that all the hard work up to that point is all put on the line in a game of pure luck.
Open it from your downloads folder and then it should give you a prompt where you have the option to click open, click that and then your game should open and start loading up.
if you right-click (click with 2 fingers on MacBooks) then choose open from the list it will ask if you are sure to open. click open and it should work and you won't run into the problem again after doing it once

It didn't work. I am able to open it, and it launches, but the update isn't showing up at all. Like it's stuck on the old update even though I updated it when I got the notification that the update was out. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still didn't do anything. :/

I'm playing on Mac and idk if this is happening to anyone but after I downloaded the game and I open it, my screen is just black and I can't do anything, is this a bug?
When I first got the game I quickly found out that when you open it it stays on a black screen for a while then will eventually load everything up ( although maybe that's just me ) . If you haven't tried that possibly give that a try and see. Just try and be patient while it's loading though as sometimes it takes a hot min.

I put the file on VirusTotal, and it appeared that it had a trojan. Can anyone confirm if this is just me? (This happened when I downloaded the update)

I don't think that's a bug, I'm pretty sure the first detail button is for the neighbors killed and the other is for the doppelgangers let in. I could be wrong tho.
For all fellow mac users, after downloading the zip file, right click on the icon rather than double clicking to open it. After right clicking click the "open" option, another tab should open that has two options "show in finder and open". Just click open again and you should be able to access the new update :)
Love the new update! Only thing to say, and I'm not sure if anyone has pointed this out or not but in the Menu screen on the Nightmare mode, it says "Wait, something if wrong with the neighbors." and in the files for Lilith Lilitu Lilit it says she has 5 tattooed eyes, but has 7. Other than those things i havent noticed anything and is amazing otherwise. Keep up the good work!

it depends on which device brand you have to decide which to download but you can download your compatible file from the game page

It's fine, virustotal has false positives. Usually its a problem if its getting a ton of detections

at the top itll say "you own this game" and you can press download. I had a hard time with this too
how do you overwrite the old one for the new one, i downloaded the new update but idk how to get rid if the old one without just deleting it
when i downloaded (windows) it did it automatically, then my computer re-added the old file so i just deleted it again. new file worked fine.
Can we delete the first version after we have downloaded the second version ( The new update ) or will it delete all of your saved data?
It updated my data but I don't know if it will erase it if I delete the previous version of the game.

Save data is stored in a different place, the game file itself can be deleted safely

Download the correct version and delete/replace the old version. Your save data will remain in tact
