I really want to buy this game but I need to be sure it doesn't crash on me. I played the free version (the website) but it kept crashing so I downloaded the demo and ran it all night and it hasn't crashed

I found a bug, Mclooy Rudboys sometimes says "because of an emergency at work" although he is retired. Once the game ended, it says killed one neighbor. Please fix this issue!
actually, it is. obviously he is retired so I killed him off. but at the end of the game, it told me I killed a neighbor, which was him. so it doesn't make sense

These are the instructions from his other blog:
You must allow execution by passing Apple security, to do this right-click on the game, then run and finally run anyway.
Another way to do it is as follows:
Go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> "Run Anyway" -> (Enter your password)
Try this: 1. Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General (tab on the top) and make sure that you have checked "App Store and identified developers"
2. Delete the old installation
3. Download the latest file
4. Run the game (you'll still likely get an error)
4. Go back to the same page in System Preferences and you should see a new pop-up with the name of the game
I have a problem where after a few times catching a doppelganger, the call won't work. I'll dial 331 and then the phone would freeze and I can't dial the 2. Can anyone help with this? I'm on Mac btw
It does this for me too on mac, you can just change ur resolution settings to anything then back then change it back. Its annoying to do but it fixes it so you don't have to lose progress each round c

While the game is amazing, there are occasional glitches that disrupt the experience. One frustrating issue is when clicking on a folder fails to open it, requiring a game restart. The dialogue can also become repetitive, with characters not responding appropriately to actions like checking off items on a list. Hopefully, future updates will allow for more interactive responses from the neighbor/doorman.
Just so you know (if you haven't already found it) there's a page where they have solutions to common problems and one of them is the folder issue. You just have to open and minimize/close all the other folders and then you can access the broken one again :) they're most likely working on fixing that bug already since they're aware of it and already have a temporary solution. You can just download the demo from this page? Test that out and see if it will crash on you before committing to buy. That's what demos are for.

this is not an issue, it is a hint to let you know it's a doppleganger.....

This is such an interesting game, I'm looking forward to updates later on. I would love to get more lore about the dopplegangers too.

I'm on mac and while playing I find that at some points of the game I'm not able to open folder one.
I also can't open the folder on floor 2 room 4.
I had the same problem with folder 1 but to solve i would just open and close all the other files and it just fixed it somehow
