Hello, I recently downloaded this game today and had the same issue, but I found the fix under his blog on this website. I tried the demo version first and it worked and I was able to play the actual game!
These are the instructions from his other blog:
You must allow execution by passing Apple security, to do this right-click on the game, then run and finally run anyway.
Another way to do it is as follows:
Go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> "Run Anyway" -> (Enter your password)
Try this: 1. Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General (tab on the top) and make sure that you have checked "App Store and identified developers"
2. Delete the old installation
3. Download the latest file
4. Run the game (you'll still likely get an error)
4. Go back to the same page in System Preferences and you should see a new pop-up with the name of the game
I have a problem where after a few times catching a doppelganger, the call won't work. I'll dial 331 and then the phone would freeze and I can't dial the 2. Can anyone help with this? I'm on Mac btw
It does this for me too on mac, you can just change ur resolution settings to anything then back then change it back. Its annoying to do but it fixes it so you don't have to lose progress each round c

While the game is amazing, there are occasional glitches that disrupt the experience. One frustrating issue is when clicking on a folder fails to open it, requiring a game restart. The dialogue can also become repetitive, with characters not responding appropriately to actions like checking off items on a list. Hopefully, future updates will allow for more interactive responses from the neighbor/doorman.
Just so you know (if you haven't already found it) there's a page where they have solutions to common problems and one of them is the folder issue. You just have to open and minimize/close all the other folders and then you can access the broken one again :) they're most likely working on fixing that bug already since they're aware of it and already have a temporary solution. Many people make rip-offs on roblox for people who can't access the real game/Kids. Like the survey, this, among us, granny, ect. Although most of the time they give credits
Cool game, I like it. I hope you add more to it. The art is really well done. Some small things I noticed. Folder #1 will randomly bug out and you have to click on and close folder #2 and #3 to make #1 clickable again. the 4th apartment tab for all of the folders will randomly bug out and you have to open other folders and click through them to make the folder you want unstick. No matter how many failed checks the person has with the checklist if you tell them they aren't on the list it'll sometimes cancel all other dialog and just say that they are on the list and that I need to check again. If you initiate the button but then exit out of it you cannot go back into the checklist; even if you click other things first. I haven't seen any type of story progression. It's just random random each time. Maybe a hardcore mode is in order? Something that is really difficult to decipher? I wish that there was more ways to skip dialog or make the chat box transparent so I can keep clicking around while on the phone or waiting for the dialog to finish. Maybe some perks if you've gotten X amount of S rank games? I'm still trying to run into peachy dude but so far nothing after 23 survived games. Other than that, it's great! keep up the good work.

I'm on mac and while playing I find that at some points of the game I'm not able to open folder one.
I also can't open the folder on floor 2 room 4.
I had the same problem with folder 1 but to solve i would just open and close all the other files and it just fixed it somehow

sometimes it works if u put on headphones instead of having the sound as normal <3
The game runs smoothly until I have to make the emergency call and then it crashes </3
i am having the same issue! i dont want to refund it as i love the premise, but i cannot use the phone at all

I think I had the same problem bro,
1. go to apple system preferences (top left)
2. go to "security and privacy"
3. go to general
4. find in there "allowed apps downloaded from" and click the other option (App Store and identified developers)
