hi here's what I did to get nightmare mode im a Mac user btw but its the same for windows, go to the email you used to get the game and use that email to make an itchio acc if you haven't already, then go to my library and click thats not my neighbor it should have every file of the game and click the latest one for your computer type
for Mac ignore the pop up and click open or open anyway
Hello commenting again because i got no responce when i open the game a black screen follows my mouse not a bar a full screen i tried to update my driver but i have the latest one so why does this not work
I'm not sure if its skill issue but i find nightmare mode unnecessarily really hard, some(or all) doppers have only 1 difference and it can be really small, sometimes i check the person for 10 minutes and don't find anything and i still die for some different eyes when i looked at them like 30 times, like its not fair, it is extremely hard to tell the difference when the characters already have an irregular face and the difference can be a differently shaped small teeth in the cheeks, also the clown game is really hard too, the RNG is really against the player and the clown almost always has a better card, plus some characters look different on their ids than in front of you even when they are supposed to match, these differences are insanely small but comparing them with the actual differences you don't really know if they count.
It's nightmare mode, it's supposed to be hard, if you're looking for the normal experience play the original mode, but I agree with you on the clown, his RNG is bullshit.
yeah i just made chatgpt play against the clonw and lost 0-2 also i know its supossed to be hard but games should be hard in a way that there are new or different mechanics that make it harder, rather than just making the existent ones harder
Yes, there are some differences that I genuinely think are too tough.
And about the clown, yes, sometimes it is just about luck, but that's the main purpose of the clown, he is just a really nasty cheater.
I agree, it is not fair, but I designed with that intention, because I knew that in the end people will figure it out how to spot the new differences, it is just try and failure, and when you finally beat the nigthmare it really feels like a great achievement, and I wanted that.
the 1 difference I have an issue with is the shape of the tattoo differences, at least make it more visible in the image, so I don't have to shove my face in the screen.
how come i just bought the game and when i try to launch the application a window pops up saying " windows protected your PC" the it follows with "Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk." why is this??? i would love to play this game and iof not may i be refunded for the game.
the game is not malware, but it can be marked as a false positive, make sure to add it to your exclusion list in Microsoft security center and the game should run fine.
Hello, I would like to report a bug. I bought the game yesterday and everything worked just fine but today I launch the game and play Arcade mode. First resident is Chester. He has his first text box, "Hello" then the text box goes away but Chester is still doing his talking animation, basically soft locking the game. I exit out to the menu and try again, again I get Chester and the same thing happens so I exit back out to the menu and try for a 3rd time. I get a new resident, but after their first text box, they just continue to do their talking animation. I was still able to play the game from that point but them constantly "talking" was really distracting. I even tried relaunching the game but the issue still persists.

I may have accidentally clicked the button mid-call with the DDD, and then the clown showed up and I said no to his game, except when I called the DDD (hoping to fix the prior problem) he made a comment about me doing it and started the game- with the blinds CLOSED?
I tried playing the demo before getting the game and it worked great so i purchased the full game but it keeps freezing and crashing nonstop while playing, I don't know if anyone else has this problem but i really hope it gets fixed, i want to be able to play the game.
cant send the other screenshots for some reason, there was 2 bugs with the button. i pressed the button as soon as the game started before anyone came to the window. one bug was the shutters acted the opposite as it was down the whole time when it wasnt supposed to be and up when it was supposed to be down. and this bug some people went through the door despite it being closed while this is happening also idk how i did it though, it is with the button aswell as far as i know. it was kinda funny though

Love the new update and been enjoying the game. Through ended up trying the game through remote and ended up discovering this game works well through flatscreen VR. Well made.

He added more variables to check to the already simple mechanics of a simple paper checking game, he's kinda limited with what he can add.

It is a rare bug, but some people manage to fix it by deleting the save data of the game.

he kills the DDD and forces you to play, that's a feature not a bug
