Inspired by Silent Hill, The Apartment Upstairs is an old-fashioned survival horror game with some puzzle elements made in RPG maker.

Just finished playing and I have to say, this was a fantastic Silent Hill inspired RPG Maker game. The story is good, the atmosphere works really well and the puzzles are actually really good. Well done on the last one especially, the puzzles really felt like ones from Silent Hill. Speaking of, laughed out loud when I saw the hidden message in one of the newspaper clippings.
Oh, and having combat that is not a turn based RPG fight system like in most RPG maker games was a great addition.
In any case, this one is really something I would recommend to anyone who wants an atmospheric RPG Maker horror game or a good Silent Hill inspired game.
There was one bug I stumbled into though. During the final chase I for some reason could not access the menu anymore. This wasn't much of a problem until I ran out of bullets on the final boss and could not switch my weapon anymore. The bug was switched by restarting the game so, you know, no biggie.
Wouldn't let me full screen? I kept trying alt + enter but it just didn't work. Any ideas why?

Hola, revisa que tu navegador/antivirus no lo esté bloqueando.
Resuelve eso antes de comprar el otro juego porque podría pasar lo mismo.
cual es el codigo del cofre en la dark prision? pense que lo tenia pero ninguno que puse me funciona pipipi
No lo recuerdo pero creo que lo podías averiguar entrando a unas habitaciones que hay por ahí.
Creo que es una buena excusa para jugarlo nuevamente, voy a probarlo y si encuentro el código lo agregaré por acá.

Las habitaciones de visita están númeradas, cuando entras en ellas aparece el número de habitación arriba a la izquierda, el orden del código es según el número de habitación.
Hay una nota que dice que los primeros 2 dígitos del código son iguales.
En la primera habitación el número en el vidrio no es visible.
En la segunda es un 1.
En la tercera es VI que es 6 en númeración romana.
En la cuarta son 2 puntos, por lo que es 2.
En la quinta es 8.
Por lo que el código es 11628.

Es porque es un archivo .exe, te piedo asegurar que es completamente seguro, pero si no te da confianza no hay problema.
Okay so I wasn't sure about this game. Honestly I'm new to this site and didn't know if this was going to be a bit dodgy...
But actually I was so surprised! I ended up playing this for around 3 hours! It has multiple levels and there is actually a really good story line! The further I got within the levels the more invested I got in this game!
I totally recommend this to anyone who likes puzzle, investigation, horror games! Totally worth paying for it too!
I did get a little lost a couple times with some codes and had to watch one of the videos in the comments but thats just me not understanding and missing out clues. (haha)
(Also, in the later levels, the save button is going to become your best friend lol)
It won't let me open it instead it says to extract it, do you know how to fix it?
Hi! You have to extract it, these will generate a folder with the files.
How can i open boarded up doors?
You have to equip the steel pipe and then press "A" to break it, this is yo teach you how to use weapons.

You can battle the final boss if you don't give the amulet to Sophie in the Hospital, and get a little different ending.
And sorry for the misspelling, English is not my native language.

Hey there, I loved it althought it was hard to navigate at first and the final boss was super hard, it bugged at the end I think, you had also a few spelling error but otherwise good game

Also, I noticed that you weren't runnig, with the shift key you can move faster and this makes the battles easier. Thanks again for playing :)
