I've played for a bit and this is what i think, it's tons of fun and very fun to play, the sound effects really add to the mood, so yeah overall great game! I can't wait for more modes!
Hi there! I love this and it's such a calming game to play in my free time between my classes. It's so silly and eerie in the best ways! My issue is that sometimes the folder for floor one, or the call ability (rotating the numbers) on the phone will stop working. Many times it starts out with me unable to check the folder, and eventually unable to call anyone including the DDD. Is there anyway to patch this from your end or troubleshoot it from mine? A lot of the time I have to just restart my run and hope it doesn't happen again on the next one. I would rather keep playing than have any sort of refund :)
you got the game to work on your Mac?? My Mac won't even let me download it because it says apple can't see if the software is corruptible. How did you get yours working??
not sure what version you're running but it's a security setting, search for your current version with the problem and it should tell you how to fix that
There should be a "Buy Now" button at the top of the page and another towards the bottom. itch.io allows you to name your own price when downloading a game, but some games (like this one) have a minimum price, which is listed above the text entry box. Payment options are at the bottom of the menu.
the game has three language options, you probably just pressed chinese by accident. In the main menu, options in the second lowest option on the side. Pressing it will open the language option.
do the doppelgangers with creepy faces/hole faces kill you if you leave the viewing window open for too long??? i mean probably not but i just wanna know in case there's a scary mechanic like that or can you just investigate them like normal
I am also unable to download it at all right now. The official itch launcher is creating an empty folder and that's it. (I've been attempting to download the Linux version)

if you find something that’s incorrect/missing, use the checklist and cross out any of the options. once you have, at the bottom, a prompt will pop up saying “question the individual”. click that and the individual will give an explanation. pay attention though, they don’t give explanations on the same topic a second time

You'll get a message Error that says "[game] cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. macOS cannot verify that this app is free from Malware. You're only options will be "Move to Trash" and "Cancel" --- KEEP THIS WINDOW UP, for now.
Navigate to your System Settings App
Navigate to "Privacy & Security" - it should be 13th in the system settings app list but you can also search for it.
Scroll down to the section that says "security" - There's a box that says "Allow applications downloaded from App Store or App Store and identified developers." Make sure that the button that says "App Store and identified developers "is selected.
Remember the window from Step 2? While you have your Settings and Privacy system settings window open hit cancel (while you're looking at the security section)
Underneath that box in Step 5 there's another message that will pop up and say "[Game] was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer" with a button that says Open anyway*---* Select open anyway
If you have a password for your mac it might prompt you to enter your password/touch ID.
Another message will pop up -- "MacOS cannot verify the developer of [Game]. Are you sure you want to open it? By opening this app you will be overriding system security which can expose your computer and personal information to malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy." --- You'll get three options this time -- Open, Move to Trash or Cancel. Go ahead and select Open.
Voila! You should be able to get your game to start up!
Im not sure if youve gotten requests for this already but itd be great if in the future you added the ability to remove the chance of getting doppelgängers with holes, maybe in the settings menu. I have trypophobia and seeing them gives me overwhelming stress so it prevents me from playing the game comfortably. Id really appreciate it, id love to be able to play too!! <3
There's a F2P in-browser version available that I'm not sure it's official (nor that it's up-date), but there's a "Trypophobia" setting available in the Accessibility settings there. Judging by all the credits and everything else being the same as from what I've seen from livestreams and gameplay videos, I think it's official and up-to-date, just not linked here.
The paid version of the game has the option of turning off the trypophobia but I don't know if the demo version has that option. Trust me, I played the paid version a bunch of times now and thankfully didn't encounter any doppelgangers with holes after turning it off so it's safe to play!
I can confirm what Violetcloud said now, I finally got to purchase the full version, and the option is available there (although I didn't check the Demo to know if that's where you're coming from)
There is an option in the settings to remove anything that triggers trypophobia. It's in accessibility. I believe it also removes the doppelgängers with a bunch of eyes.
Will this game ever see a Steam release anytime soon? I've already bought the game on here, but I wouldn't mind buying it on Steam just to support you in your future endeavours.
I downloaded the game today and it keeps crashing at the first neighbor, I cant get any further than that and I've tried all the necessary things to try and get the game to work. i have to idea what to do now.

Just fyi, both issues fix themselves if I wait long enough (I had not waited long enough previously before restarting)

whenever i load the game or the demo it leaves me on a black screen, the only texture that loads is the cursor

This option already exists in the game... Go to menu -> options -> wheelchair -> check the trypophobia box! :)
