i text to the owner of this game. he said that game must not working for me...so i can get money back...but not yet i will try with my another computer.
i would love to play this on my phone and also quest 3 via the touch controllers,
on the oculus quest 1-3 you can sideload apk's and it will run standard 2d apps in a 2d window suspended in your vr homespace or in passsthru, its quite good.
the quest controllers act much like a mouse on pc, if a port to android did come around i would love to beta test.
i purxhased the game and downloaded all of the contents from the app on my computer and the game refuses to launch but it updates stating that i have played the game, but i havent. can i get some help please?
What do I do when they are not in today's list and don't give me a reason? Everything else checks, except that. They keep telling me to look again, but they aren't in the list anyways, and I just send them away as doppelgangers

I have the exe downloaded, but the game just doesn't wanna open, running as admin does nothing too. Should it be downloading just the exe or a folder with the exe in it? im on Windows 10 btw. I have deleted and redownloaded the game 3 times and only get the exe file.

I can download and play Buckshot Roulette, another Godot game, just fine so this must be some weird misconfiguration of something needed for the app, I suppose from your side and not itch.io but I may be mistaken.
I think I know what is different now, based on looking at the receipt.json of both games and comparing download files of Buckshot Roulette and this. You distribute it directly as .exe or .x86_64, while they distribute it in .zip.
receipt.json for your game reflects this, it tries to install your game "naked" while for Buckshot Roulette, it detects it is an "archive" as it is in .zip and just unpacks it.
Uploading the game in a .zip file should help this issue, would be appreciated! This is only game I have to manage myself via manual download... Not ideal when there will be some update.
This is an interesting game but I feel it's sometimes too difficult to determine if someone is a doppelganger in the event of one of their papers being missing but everything else checking out. So far as I know the only way to 'question' anyone is to call their apartment but at best that results in one party saying the other isn't home. Am I missing something?
Dunno if this has happened to anyone else, but Mclooy, who is retired and shouldn't use leaving for work as an excuse, said that he "left due to an emergency at work," so I assumed he was a dopple. Apparently he was not. Just wanted to bring that up lol, idk if it was a glitch or what but regardless, great game, been having tons of fun with it.
so i figured out that if you don't have an audio output device it causes the game to get stuck on phonecalls after you dial it will be left waiting for answer forever. if you connect speakers or headphones it will prevent this error.
There are a few youtube lets plays of this floating around of a "hard mode" (the visual differences are like... blood splattered around the security booth, ooze from the vent, there are eyes embedded in the wall, etc).
But absolutely nowhere can I find instructions on how to activate this hardmode :( Can anyone help?
i tried to delete the download and redownload the file again but the screen is still completely black, i hear the game sound and when the cursor moves over things i hear but the whole screen is still black :((
Before I start, absolutely no hate to this because I think it's a very cool concept and I absolutely love the concept of it.
However, I have ran into a major issue on my end. I literally cannot open the game. I have paid for it, downloaded the correct file, and even tried to open it via commands, but it just. won't. run. I have checked that it does run on my CPU, but it won't open at all no matter what I do and I feel very disappointed since I have been wanting to buy this game and it feels as if I had wasted my money. I've deleted it, re-downloaded, restarted my computer--just about everything I could do for now. I'm going to try again tomorrow, but if anybody knows how I can fix this that would be very helpful!
Absolutely love it! I've been playing for hours since I got it! Idk the update plans, but a recommendation to up the difficulty, or for future modes: Changing the date on the calendar and having characters come in as guests to others, but not be residents? Maybe up the danger by having some Doppelgangers to try and slip though the slot! Just suggestions though! I Love the game rn and I look forward to ay future updates that may come!

Awesome Game! I really was impressed by every aspect of this game!
the top right of the game stopped responding so i couldn't click the first floor folder, or any 4th apartments
This is an easy fix - just exit full screen mode and enter again.

i manage to play the game for a max of 2 minutes before it stops responding. restarted my laptop, deleted and redownloaded ;_;

I suggest you call the apartment, if they are doppels someone might reply and tell you they are already home ^^
